Canadian Parents for French will be holding their next meeting on November 15th at Summerland Middle School at 7 pm. All parents of French Immersion students in the district are invited to attend!

School Cash Online is now available for hot lunch ordering! Subway sandwiches will be available on Wednesdays, and can be ordered one month at a time, and Friday pizza can be still be ordered before school on pizza mornings, but will also be able to be ordered through School Cash Online! https://sd67.schoolcashonline.com/

Performances Coming Soon:
Our KVR students will watch The Lion King during the school day! If possible, please send a non-perishable food item for students to donate at the door! Grade 6 students will attend on May 16th, grade 7 students on May 17, and grade 8 students on May 18.

Performances for family members and the public will occur at 7pm on May 16 and 17. Tickets are $5. and may be purchased through School Cash Online.

Lots of transition planning is in the works to help students make a smooth move to high school! A notice is being sent home and emailed to ensure that parents are aware of the process!

Halloween is on MONDAY! Costumes are encouraged, but no replica weapons please. We have a dance scheduled for 1-3 on Monday; non-perishable food items for the food bank will be collected!

Parent/Teacher interviews are coming up next week: Oct. 18 & 19 (which also means those are early dismissal days. Instructions for how to book appointments were emailed out in our October newsletter, or can be seen below:
Parent-Teacher interviews will be held on Tuesday,
October 18th from 2-6 pm and Wednesday October
19th from 2-6 pm. Students will be dismissed at 12:55
on both days. Busses will run at regular times both
days. We are recommending that if you are able to pick
your child up from school on those days, please do. We
have limited supervision for students who are waiting
for their busses.
We are using an online booking system for the Parent/Teacher Interviews to enable parents to schedule
their teacher meetings. The online booking system will
be available beginning at noon on Thursday, October
6th and will close at 12 pm on Tuesday October 18th.
Options will be available for in person or virtual
interviews. Please enter the following web address or
find the link on our KVR website to access the online

We did use this system last year; however, parents will
need to re-register as the system gets renewed each
school year.
